Problem Statement


Control the movement of the Robot based on the dynamic gestures made using the Wiimote.

The gesture have been classified as follows:


  • Pull Up  - Makes the Robot move Forward
  • Push Down - Makes the Robot move Backwards
  • Leftward Hand Movement  -   Makes the Robot turn Left 
  • Rightward Hand Movement  - Makes the Robot turn Right
  • Square Gesture - Makes the Robot turn Around 

The following videos show these gestures for the two approaches I have used in my project.

Approach 1  


Gesture is done pressing button B and moving the Wiimote
